Today was one of those not a cloud in the sky days, the last sunny day that we had was Christmas Eve day, a long time without seeing the sun. I decided it was time to get out, get some fresh air and stretch these ole bones. Devou Park is always a great place to do just that. Not wanting to be around other humans I decided to head to the old stumping ground where we would take the dogs when we lived in the cabin. The area is now over grown, bamboo is starting to creep out of the woods, it wont be long before the bamboo will take over a lot of the landscape.
This photo only reminds me of how much I want a Macro lens.
Near the bamboo is apparently a favorite spot for the deer, as you can see the deer spend many evenings here shedding much of their hair. This is how thick the bamboo is now, 3 years ago when we discovered it you could see through the trees. Not the case now.
Bamboo is making its' way out into the open.
Reminding me again of that Macro lens.
