Who the Heck am I

Welcome to my blog, I ran out of storage space on my last blog so instead of purchasing more space I decided to start another.

Photographing is one of my biggest passions in life. I've been a photographer for 20+ years. Although I have sold some of my work I consider myself an advance amateur. Which means I'm pretty good at pretending to know what I am doing. I arrived from Massachusetts to Northern Kentucky September 16, 2001. I hated it, for months I complained about living here, besides all the redneck jokes I would get there was nothing about Northern Kentucky I enjoyed, when I got over myself I dusted off my camera and headed for the hills, literally, I never fully understood what a beautiful place this is until I was given my first digital camera as a Christmas gift. In all honesty you couldn't get me to move out of this state.

Living so near to Cincinnati (I live right across the river) no other city can offer me more. Art museums, Cincinnati Zoo, symphony, theatre, aquarium, amusement park, Dozens of parks, one of the largest and most amazing firework display in the country and so much more. If you are from the area you know what I am talking about, if you're not, believe me when I say In and Around Northern Kentucky is worth the visit.

Living Room Before & After

Here is the first of 4 rooms that have been painted, nothing on the walls have been hung up as yet, I'll be getting to that shortly, some shopping still needs to be done, all the switch and outlet covers will be replaced and the inside of the fireplace will be painted as well, going to put up curtains...eventually. I haven't decided yet but I am seriously thinking about painting the tile around the fireplace the same color as the walls. Now hubby wants to remove the carpet and redo the wood floors. You couldn't have told me that before I put everything back?...lol. at least I wont have to clear the shelves. So what do you think? I just love the color

It's Begun

Well the day has finally arrived and the painting has begun, this our second day of painting the lower level. Completion date should be Thursday, Friday I will put it all back together and then the before and after photos will begin. Here is a small reminder of what the house looked liked before we moved in.

YAY It All Starts TONIGHT!!!

Alright fellow followers tonight it all begins, Spring is officially here, the fun can now begin. Tonight is......FIREWORKS FRIDAY and yes I'm going to be there. Weather wise it is going to be the perfect evening, can't wait so stay tuned!!!

Cincinnati Reds Opening Day

Yes I know what a slacker I've become. Warm weather is slowly creeping into the Northern Kentucky area and with it come the Reds Opening Day.

This is a picture of me heading to the Reds Opening Day game. Woot, woot.

This is me getting closer to downtown Cincinnati.

This is me making a detour after dropping hubby and one of his project managers at the Reds Opening Day, someone failed to acquire a ticket for me so this is as close to watching the game as I will get.

I did get to see some geese.

along with the stadium and a tour boat.

and now this is me going back to Cincinnati to pick up hubby and project manager. What I failed to show you was me going to the ATM getting money out and going shopping for just myself, today became an expensive day for hubby....hubby should of gotten me a ticket too.
