Who the Heck am I

Welcome to my blog, I ran out of storage space on my last blog so instead of purchasing more space I decided to start another.

Photographing is one of my biggest passions in life. I've been a photographer for 20+ years. Although I have sold some of my work I consider myself an advance amateur. Which means I'm pretty good at pretending to know what I am doing. I arrived from Massachusetts to Northern Kentucky September 16, 2001. I hated it, for months I complained about living here, besides all the redneck jokes I would get there was nothing about Northern Kentucky I enjoyed, when I got over myself I dusted off my camera and headed for the hills, literally, I never fully understood what a beautiful place this is until I was given my first digital camera as a Christmas gift. In all honesty you couldn't get me to move out of this state.

Living so near to Cincinnati (I live right across the river) no other city can offer me more. Art museums, Cincinnati Zoo, symphony, theatre, aquarium, amusement park, Dozens of parks, one of the largest and most amazing firework display in the country and so much more. If you are from the area you know what I am talking about, if you're not, believe me when I say In and Around Northern Kentucky is worth the visit.

I know you will want to check out my other blog, I have shot photographs at the Behringer-Crawford Museum, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Zoo, Creation Museum, Eden Park, Findlay Market, Fountain, Square, Krohn Conservatory, Rabbit Hash, KY, Railway Museum, Smale Park, Spring Grove Cemetery and much more. Cincinnati Reds Firework Friday 23-May-14

After totally missing the last two firework events I finally made it back down to the river. I was a little disappointed and found that a lot of the fireworks were just okay, actually let me rephrase that a lot of the fireworks were crap. One I really liked, you'll have to scroll down to find it.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend all be safe and enjoy.

The one above is my favorite out of the bunch.

The First Ten

Here are my first picks 1-10, more to follow but for now please choose not more then 5.

Most importantly you need to be aware that all the photos below have been compressed in order to save space on my blog, do not look at the quality but rather the photo itself, would you hang any of these in your home, if so which ones?

Need Your Help

To those of you who follow this blog regularly or you are stopping by for the first time I need your help and more importantly your opinion. I will be participating in some craft shows late this summer in which I will be selling my photos, this is a huge step for me and I am a little nervous about it all. I will start by choosing 10 photos among how many I am not sure as of yet, so far I have found approximately 50 or so that I feel are my favorites, if you would take the time and help me with finding the 10 best I would certainly appreciate it, I will be adding the photos late this weekend so come on back and vote for the 10 you think I might have a good chance of selling.

Hope you'll take the time and thanks to all of you in advance.

Mother's Day

This is how my Mother's Day began, looked like we were in for a really nice storm and then................
nothin, which was actually kinda fine because.....scroll down please.

We were headed later that morning for a Reds game and what a game it was.

Just some random guy selling cotton candy, thought he was kinda cute, okay I'm old but I'm not dead so deal with it.

In the 9th inning with a 4-1 lead over the Rockies the Reds decided to bring in the "Cuban Missile", I'm not exactly sure if that is really politically correct but I'm going with it.

 Yep that's right, 101 MPH!!!

Strike three, game set and match, oops that's another sport, Reds win it!!!

It was such a nice Mother's Day the only thing that would have made it better is if the kids were here, oh well the Reds are a good second.

Black & White Monday

My cousin from Michigan came down to visit over the weekend, as with any first time visitor we headed to the city then up 49 flights and took in the view from the Carew Tower. She loved it and I took some photographs. The view may always be the same but every time I am up there it just takes my breath away.
