Caught the end of fall foliage in Ohio, beautiful fall day.
Who the Heck am I
Welcome to my blog, I ran out of storage space on my last blog so instead of purchasing more space I decided to start another.
Photographing is one of my biggest passions in life. I've been a photographer for 20+ years. Although I have sold some of my work I consider myself an advance amateur. Which means I'm pretty good at pretending to know what I am doing. I arrived from Massachusetts to Northern Kentucky September 16, 2001. I hated it, for months I complained about living here, besides all the redneck jokes I would get there was nothing about Northern Kentucky I enjoyed, when I got over myself I dusted off my camera and headed for the hills, literally, I never fully understood what a beautiful place this is until I was given my first digital camera as a Christmas gift. In all honesty you couldn't get me to move out of this state.
Living so near to Cincinnati (I live right across the river) no other city can offer me more. Art museums, Cincinnati Zoo, symphony, theatre, aquarium, amusement park, Dozens of parks, one of the largest and most amazing firework display in the country and so much more. If you are from the area you know what I am talking about, if you're not, believe me when I say In and Around Northern Kentucky is worth the visit.
I know you will want to check out my other blog, I have shot photographs at the Behringer-Crawford Museum, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Zoo, Creation Museum, Eden Park, Findlay Market, Fountain, Square, Krohn Conservatory, Rabbit Hash, KY, Railway Museum, Smale Park, Spring Grove Cemetery and much more. Just click on the link below.

Please Help Those That Need Us Most
Next week is Thanksgiving; we have many things to be
thankful for however, this is also a time for families that this day will bring
sadness and another day of hunger. Please take the time to find a food pantry
near you, drop off food and allow those families that are hungry a day they too
can be grateful for.

Ohio River Flood Stage
With all the snow that has fallen north of us it really isn't a surprise that the Ohio River is flooding. What I can't tell you is if this is as high as it will go. Will be keeping an eye on this.
***Update*** Ohio River will crest sometime on Sunday.

Sad to see all of this trash.

Foggy Morning on the River
Looking out the window before going to bed I saw fog starting to roll into the area, I wasn't sure if it would still be there in the morning but I set my alarm anyway just in case. Waking up way to early for me, (I'm a night owl) I eagerly made my way downstairs and out the front door to check on the fogs conditions, much to my delight it was still foggy. Grabbing the camera I flew out the door. Heading for the river I was hoping it would stay foggy long enough to get some photos. Woohoo I hit the jackpot. The three photos below were taken on and near Riverside Drive, right across the river from downtown Cincinnati.
The one above is by far my favorite. I am ohhhh soooo printing this one up and hanging it somewhere.
I think I'll print this one up as well.

CSO Lumenocity
My photo buddy texts me yesterday and says "do you want to go to Lumenocity at Washington Park?" so of course I text back and ask "what is Lumenocity?" photo buddy's response was "OMG" I knew then that my ignorance was showing and just waited for the answer, "Lumenocity is the 2nd annual Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra event being held in Washington Park," you dumb ass....okay I added that last part in my head after I read his reply. The event doesn't actually start until this evening (Friday night) but the dress rehearsal was last night, thinking the event had to be free we headed on down to watch.
When we arrived we found out the event was free however, we still needed tickets to enter, so we walked around in search for a free place to sit, during this exhausting search we came across some local news channels.
finally we found a spot and planted ourselves as close to the symphony as possible, which was right behind them and across the street. Yep not so pretty but all I wanted was to listen to the music anyway.
